Position Summary
Seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with 5+ years of design experience in chemical process plants, petrochemical facilities, or related industrial projects. The role involves equipment design, engineering calculations,design reviews, and preparation of engineering deliverables.
Key Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in design engineering for chemical/process plants.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for preparation and review of engineering drawings.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for engineering calculations, data analysis, and technical reporting.
- Experience in equipment sizing and mechanical design calculations.
- Knowledge of applicable codes and standards such as ASME, API, TEMA, IS, and relevant international standards.
- Ability to review P&IDs, GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and vendor documents.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Competencies
- Mechanical code calculations and design verification.
- Pressure vessel, heat exchanger, tank, piping, or package equipment design exposure.
- Knowledge of material selection and corrosion considerations.
- Experience in multidisciplinary project environments.
