Job Summary
INTERNATIONAL TRANSMISSION LIMITED (ITL) is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Welder to join our manufacturing team at the Pundhe facility. The candidate will be responsible for performing welding and fabrication activities, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and supporting production requirements in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform welding operations using appropriate welding processes such as ARC, MIG, TIG, and CO₂ welding as required
· Read and interpret engineering drawings, welding symbols, and fabrication specifications
· Prepare, align, and join metal components according to quality standards
· Inspect welded joints and ensure compliance with dimensional and quality requirements
· Operate welding equipment and related tools safely and efficiently
· Perform minor repairs, fabrication, and modification work as needed
· Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper housekeeping of the work area
· Follow all safety procedures, welding standards, and company policies
· Coordinate with production and quality teams to meet production schedules and quality objectives
Required Skills & Qualifications
· ITI in Welder Trade or equivalent technical qualification
· Minimum 2 years of relevant welding experience, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering industry
· Strong knowledge of welding techniques, welding equipment, and fabrication processes
· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding specifications
· Familiarity with welding safety practices and quality inspection requirements
· Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
