Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented BOQ Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in preparing accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs), quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and vendor coordination for commercial and corporate interior fit-out projects. The candidate should possess strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of interior materials, execution methodologies, and market rates.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed BOQs from architectural, interior, and MEP drawings.
- Perform quantity take-offs for civil, interior, furniture, and MEP works.
- Prepare accurate project cost estimates and budgets.
- Conduct rate analysis and maintain updated material and labour cost databases.
- Obtain and compare quotations from vendors and subcontractors.
- Coordinate with the Design, Procurement, and Project teams during estimation.
- Prepare tender documents, cost comparison sheets, and commercial proposals.
- Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving alternatives.
- Track project variations and prepare revised BOQs as required.
- Maintain estimation records and project documentation.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation and quantity estimation.
- Good understanding of interior fit-out materials, finishes, and execution.
- Ability to read architectural, interior, and MEP drawings.
- Excellent proficiency in MS Excel.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and negotiation skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work under deadlines with high accuracy.
Qualifications
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design/Architecture.
- 1–7 years of experience in BOQ estimation for commercial or interior fit-out projects.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in corporate office, retail, hospitality, or commercial interior projects.
- Familiarity with ERP or estimation software will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of vendor management and procurement processes is preferred.
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
