Full job description
We are looking for an experienced SEO Manager to own and execute our organic growth strategy. This role requires deep expertise across technical SEO, content strategy, off-page SEO, and analytics — with the ability to drive measurable impact on traffic, conversions, and revenue. You will lead cross-functional collaboration and manage a team of SEO executives and/or external agencies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
SEO Strategy & Roadmap
- Own quarterly/monthly SEO roadmaps aligned to revenue goals
- Conduct competitor analysis, keyword clustering & topical authority mapping
- Scale SEO across multiple pages, products, or domains
Technical SEO
- Perform technical audits: crawl budget, indexation, Core Web Vitals, site architecture
- Log file analysis, structured data, canonicalization, hreflang & JavaScript SEO
- Collaborate with dev teams to implement SEO in sprints
Content Strategy
- Lead content gap analysis and topical authority (E-E-A-T) initiatives
- Oversee programmatic SEO and scalable content frameworks
- Conduct content audits; identify pages to optimize, consolidate, or prune
Conversion Rate Optimization
- Run A/B tests on landing pages and CTAs for organic traffic
- Use Hotjar / Clarity to identify friction in organic user journeys
- Align SEO traffic strategy with conversion funnels and revenue goals
Off-Page SEO & Link Building
- Execute multi-channel link acquisition: guest posting, digital PR, outreach
- Evaluate link quality (DR, spam score, topical relevance, anchor text strategy)
- Manage link velocity and maintain a clean, authoritative backlink profile
Analytics & Business Impact
- Own KPIs: organic conversions, revenue contribution & ROI — not just traffic
- Build SEO growth forecasts for quarterly planning and budget justification
- Advanced use of GA4 (events, funnels), GSC (coverage, CWV), Ahrefs/SEMrush
Team & Stakeholder Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage SEO executives and/or external agencies
- Define team workflows, SOPs, and scalable SEO processes
- Communicate strategy and results clearly to senior stakeholders
Continuous Improvement
- Stay current on algorithm updates, SERP changes, and SGE developments
- Identify and test emerging SEO opportunities; share learnings across teams
Technical Skills
- On-page, off-page & technical SEO expertise
- Core Web Vitals, log file analysis, schema markup
- Crawl tools: Screaming Frog, Sitebulb
- Basic HTML/CSS; CMS (WordPress, Webflow)
- JavaScript SEO fundamentals
Tools
- GA4: custom events, funnels, attribution
- Google Search Console: coverage, CWV, queries
- Ahrefs / SEMrush: audits, competitive intel, rank tracking
- CRO: Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity
- PM tools: Notion, Asana, Jira
