Job Description – Stores Executive – Gate Inward
Department: Stores / Warehouse
Location: Manufacturing Plant – Lodha Industrial & Logistic Park, Ambernath
Reporting To: Stores Manager / General Manager – F&A
System Used: SAP Business One (SAP B1) / ERP
Key Responsibilities:
* Handle gate inward operations including receipt and verification of incoming materials.
* Verify supplier documents such as Invoice, Delivery Challan, E-Way Bill, and LR Copy.
* Cross-check materials against Purchase Orders (PO).
* Verify quantity, batch number, specifications, and material description.
* Create Gate Inward Entry and GRPO in SAP B1.
* Ensure proper warehouse and bin allocation in the system.
* Coordinate with Accounts for invoice booking and documentation.
* Handle rejected, short, excess, or damaged material entries.
* Coordinate with QA/QC team for inspection and clearance.
* Maintain inward registers, audit records, and GST compliance documentation.
* Supervise unloading, storage, labeling, and stacking of materials.
* Coordinate with Purchase, Production, QA/QC, Accounts, and Security departments.
* Prepare daily inward reports and maintain pending GRPO tracker.
Requirements:
* Graduate / Diploma in Material Management, Commerce, or Supply Chain.
* 2–5 years of experience in Manufacturing Stores.
* Hands-on experience in SAP B1 / ERP system.
* Knowledge of GST, E-Way Bill process, FIFO & FEFO.
* Good documentation, coordination, and communication skills.
