Position: Site Accountant
Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Site Accountant to manage daily accounting activities at the project/site location. The candidate will handle cash transactions, vendor payments, employee expenses, stock records, billing support, and coordination with the Head Office finance team.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Maintain daily site accounts, cash book, and expense records.
- Handle petty cash management and ensure proper documentation.
- Verify and process vendor bills, purchase bills, and employee reimbursements.
- Maintain records of material inward/outward and site inventory.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly expense reports.
- Coordinate with Head Office accounts team for billing and payment processes.
- Maintain attendance, wage records, and site-related statutory documents if required.
- Reconcile site accounts and support during audits.
- Ensure all accounting entries are accurate and updated on time.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and company records.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and taxation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software/Tally.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently at project/site locations.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field.
- 2–10 years of experience in site accounting/construction/project accounting preferred.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in construction, infrastructure, electrical, solar, or EPC projects, Tally and ERPsoftware will be an added advantage.
Work Location
- Project/Site Location - Aurangabad, Jalna - Maharashtra
Reporting To
- Accounts Manager / Finance Head / Project Manager

- Candidate should be willing to stay and work at project/site locations as per company requirements.
