Job Summary
KALVAG CONSULTING LLP is seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Technical Resume Writer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating ATS-friendly technical resumes, understanding candidate profiles, optimizing resumes based on job requirements, and assisting candidates in presenting their technical expertise effectively.
The role requires excellent English communication, basic technical understanding, strong research skills, and familiarity with AI tools to deliver high-quality resume content.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, edit, and optimize ATS-friendly technical resumes for IT professionals.
- Understand candidate experience, technical skills, projects, certifications, and career objectives through discussions and profile reviews.
- Customize resumes according to specific job descriptions and client requirements.
- Write compelling professional summaries, technical profiles, project descriptions, and achievement-based content.
- Draft professional emails and communicate effectively with candidates regarding resume updates and documentation.
- Conduct basic technical mock interview sessions to understand candidate strengths and improve resume quality.
- Perform research on current IT market trends, technologies, and resume best practices.
- Utilize AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude to improve productivity, content quality, and resume optimization.
- Ensure all resumes are grammatically accurate, professionally formatted, and delivered within the defined turnaround time.
- Maintain confidentiality of candidate information and company data.
Required Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Basic understanding of IT technologies, software development lifecycle, and technical terminology.
- Knowledge of US work authorization and visa types (H1B, OPT, CPT, GC, USC, EAD, TN, etc.).
- Strong resume writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Experience or familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude.
- Ability to draft professional emails and communicate confidently with candidates.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving mindset.
- Basic knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and keyword optimization.
- Good organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Google Docs, and Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 0–2 years of experience in Technical Resume Writing, US IT Recruitment, Content Writing, or a related field.
- Freshers with excellent English communication and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
