Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and result-oriented Residential Mathematics & Reasoning Teacher to prepare students for Rashtriya Military School (RMS), UP Sainik School, All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE), RIMC, Navodaya, and other competitive entrance examinations. The ideal candidate should have strong subject expertise in both Mathematics and Reasoning, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to mentor students in a disciplined residential environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics and Mental Ability/Reasoning for competitive entrance examinations.
- Prepare students for RMS, AISSEE (All India Sainik School), UP Sainik School, RIMC, Navodaya, and similar entrance exams.
- Cover Mathematics topics such as:
- Number System
- Arithmetic
- Algebra
- Geometry
- Mensuration
- Percentage
- Profit & Loss
- Ratio & Proportion
- Time & Work
- Speed, Time & Distance
- Data Interpretation
- Cover Reasoning topics such as:
- Verbal & Non-Verbal Reasoning
- Analogies
- Classification
- Series
- Coding-Decoding
- Blood Relations
- Direction Sense
- Ranking
- Puzzle & Seating Arrangement
- Logical Reasoning
- Mirror & Water Images
- Figure Completion
- Conduct daily practice sessions, doubt-solving classes, and revision classes.
- Prepare worksheets, practice papers, and full-length mock tests.
- Evaluate student performance and provide personalized guidance.
- Develop exam strategies, shortcuts, and time-management techniques.
- Mentor students during evening study hours and motivate them to achieve academic excellence.
- Maintain classroom discipline and contribute to the overall development of residential students.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Mathematics or a related discipline.
- B.Ed. preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Competitive Exams, CBSE, or Residential Schools.
- Experience in coaching students for RMS, AISSEE, UP Sainik, RIMC, Navodaya, or other competitive entrance examinations will be preferred.
Required Skills
- Excellent command of Mathematics and Reasoning.
- Strong communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Ability to explain concepts in a simple and engaging manner.
- Experience in preparing competitive exam study material and mock tests.
- Good classroom management and mentoring skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, Smart Board, Online Teaching Tools).
Residential Responsibilities
- Willingness to stay on the school campus.
- Supervise evening study sessions.
- Guide and mentor hostel students.
- Participate in school activities, assemblies, and co-curricular programs.
- Ensure discipline and student welfare in the residential environment.
