This role is best suited for a person who:
· has a strong instinct for visual storytelling
· understands reels, shorts, long-form conversations, snippets, podcasts, interviews, and social-first content
· can bring freshness, pace, and modern presentation styles
· is comfortable experimenting with new formats, transitions, hooks, captions, overlays, and audience-retention editing techniques
· can work with content in domains such as Finance, Personal Finance, Spirituality, and value-based thought leadership
Key Responsibilities
· Edit long-form and short-form video content for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other social platforms
· Create engaging edits for interviews, podcasts, expert conversations, reels / shorts, promos / teasers, educational and thought-leadership content
· Identify the most engaging moments from long-form content and convert them into short-form clips
· Add appropriate captions / subtitles, transitions, graphics / overlays, music / sound elements, pacing and storytelling structure
· Work closely with the content, social media, and design teams to create platform-ready content
· Bring in new ideas, contemporary editing formats, and audience-friendly storytelling techniques
· Ensure edits are visually clean, engaging, and aligned to the brand tone and content purpose
· Maintain consistency in quality, turnaround time, and delivery schedules

Preferred Skills
· Experience in video editing for social media / YouTube / digital content platforms
· Good understanding of reels, shorts, and long-form video packaging
· Familiarity with editing tools such as:
o Adobe Premiere Pro
o After Effects
o Final Cut Pro
o CapCut or equivalent modern editing tools
· Ability to work with subtitles, overlays, motion elements, and basic sound cleanup
· Familiarity with AI tools for editing support, clipping, captioning, visual enhancement, or workflow acceleration will be an added advantage
Added Advantage
· Exposure to Finance / Personal Finance / Investment / Spiritual / knowledge-led content
· Ability to understand and package speaker-led or expert-led content for digital audiences
· Comfort working in a fast-paced, content-driven environment with frequent publishing needs
