Core Responsibilities
- System Monitoring: Inspect, monitor, and adjust equipment (pumps, chillers, boilers, compressors) to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintenance & Repairs: Perform preventive maintenance, including lubrication and cleaning, and troubleshoot, repair, or replace components.
- Data Recording: Maintain accurate, detailed logs of operational readings, equipment performance, and maintenance activities.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols, including PPE usage and lock-out/tag-out procedures, to prevent hazards.
- Emergency Response: Respond to utility emergencies, such as power failures, gas leaks, or water leaks, to prevent service disruption.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: High school diploma or ITI in electrical, mechanical, or HVAC/refrigeration trades.
- Experience: Generally 2–5 years of experience in utility operations, often within industrial or facilities management settings.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with compressors, chillers, AHUs, pumps, and electrical systems.
- Skills: Strong mechanical ability, troubleshooting skills, ability to read gauges, and basic computer proficiency for reporting. Aemetis, Inc.
