About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Back End Developer with 1–2 years of experience to join our
engineering team in Chandigarh. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in PHP, MySQL, and CodeIgniter, with a strong understanding of backend development principles. The candidate should also be proficient in leveraging AI-powered tools to enhance coding efficiency, debugging, and overall development productivity.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and optimize scalable backend applications using PHP and CodeIgniter
(CI3 & CI4).
Design, develop, and manage MySQL databases, ensuring data integrity and performance. Build and integrate RESTful APIs with frontend applications and third-party services.
Write clean, secure, reusable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
Optimize application performance, database queries, and server-side logic.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues efficiently.
Collaborate closely with frontend developers, designers, and product teams to deliver high- quality solutions.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards.
Leverage AI-powered development tools to accelerate coding, debugging, testing, and
documentation.
Stay updated with emerging backend technologies and industry best practices.
Required Skills
1–2 years of experience in Backend Development.
Strong proficiency in PHP.
Hands-on experience with CodeIgniter 3 (CI3) and CodeIgniter 4 (CI4).
Strong knowledge of MySQL Database design, optimization, and query writing.
Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
Understanding of MVC architecture and backend design principles.
Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
Good debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills. AI Expertise
Hands-on experience using AI-powered development tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub
Copilot, Cursor, Claude, Windsurf, or similar.
Ability to utilize AI for code generation, debugging, documentation, testing, code
optimization, and improving development workflows.
Good to Have
Basic knowledge of frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Understanding of application security best practices.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Experience working with third-party APIs and integrations.
