Job Title : Manager- Production Support

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide application support and troubleshooting for Linux/Unix and Java-based applications.
- Monitor, maintain, and support three-tier architecture applications and production environments.
- Handle incident, problem, and change management activities as per ITIL processes.
- Support deployment, migration, and release management activities.
- Analyze system issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure timely resolution.
- Monitor application performance using monitoring and operational tools.
- Work on real-time messaging technologies such as Multicast, UDP, and TCP/IP.
- Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation and operational support.
- Coordinate with development, infrastructure, and business teams for issue resolution and system stability.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and operational documentation.
- Ensure smooth functioning of applications and minimize downtime.
- Manage team schedules, task allocation, and operational support activities.
Requisites
- BE / B.Tech / MCA or related technical qualification.
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and shell scripting.
- Understanding of Java-based three-tier architecture technologies.
- Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and RDBMS concepts.
- Familiarity with TCP/IP, Multicast, and messaging technologies.
- Experience in deployment, migration, and production support activities.
- Understanding of ITIL framework, Incident Management, and Problem Management.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow, ITRS, and monitoring tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Team handling and coordination skills with focus on operational excellence.
