Civil Engineer – Petrol Pump Construction
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer with hands-on experience in petrol pump construction and infrastructure projects. The candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating civil works at petrol pump sites, ensuring construction is completed as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage petrol pump construction and civil works from foundation to completion.
- Execute earthwork, excavation, RCC, foundations, flooring, paving, drainage, and structural works.
- Coordinate construction of canopy foundations, forecourt, sales building, driveway, boundary walls, and utility areas.
- Ensure proper execution of underground tank foundations and related civil works as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and other project teams for smooth site execution.
- Monitor contractors, subcontractors, labour, and material requirements at site.
- Check quantities, measurements, BOQ items, and support billing and quantity verification.
- Ensure construction activities meet required quality, safety, and environmental standards.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion as per schedule.
- Prepare daily progress reports, site records, material reports, and other project documentation.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and government/local authorities when required.
- Identify site issues and provide practical solutions to avoid delays and cost overruns.
- Ensure all works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.
Qualification & Experience
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in civil construction, with hands-on experience in petrol pump/retail fuel station projects preferred.
- Strong knowledge of RCC, foundations, paving, drainage, excavation, quantity estimation, and site supervision.
- Ability to independently manage site activities and coordinate multiple contractors.
- Willingness to travel and work at project sites as required.
