Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Insolvency & Bankruptcy Professional with 4-6 years of post-qualification experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will specialize in insolvency and bankruptcy matters, excluding litigation work, and will play a key role in advising clients during the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) and liquidation processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Committee of Creditors (CoC) Engagement:
Attend and actively participate in CoC meetings.
Ensure effective communication between stakeholders and maintain clear documentation of proceedings.
Review and analyse minutes from meetings to capture key resolutions and action items.
Provide summaries and insights to support decision-making.
- Drafting Resolution Plans:
Prepare and draft comprehensive resolution plans tailored to client needs during CIRP and liquidation.
Collaborate with stakeholders to refine and finalize resolution proposals.
Offer expert advice on queries related to CIRP and liquidation processes.
Ensure that recommendations comply with applicable regulations and best practices.
- Stakeholder Coordination:
Liaise with internal teams, external advisors, and regulatory bodies to facilitate smooth insolvency proceedings.
Assist in the coordination of due diligence activities and related financial reviews.
- Compliance and Regulatory Support:
Ensure all processes adhere to current insolvency and bankruptcy regulations.
Stay updated with changes in legislation and industry best practices.
Qualifications and Skills
Law degree or relevant professional qualification in insolvency and bankruptcy.
4-6 years of post-qualification experience in insolvency and bankruptcy matters.
Demonstrated experience in handling CIRP and liquidation processes.
No litigation work required in this role.
Strong understanding of insolvency laws and regulatory frameworks.
Proficient in drafting legal documents and resolution plans.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in documentation and compliance.
