Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Draftsman with 3+ years of experience in preparing mechanical drawings and documentation for building services, industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong AutoCAD drafting skills and a thorough understanding of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed mechanical drawings, layouts, shop drawings, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop HVAC ducting layouts, piping drawings, equipment layouts, and coordination drawings.
- Prepare fabrication and installation drawings based on engineering designs.
- Coordinate with mechanical engineers, architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines.
- Update and revise drawings according to project requirements and client comments.
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, applicable codes, and standards.
- Maintain drawing records and document control procedures.
- Assist in resolving design and coordination issues during project execution.
- Support site teams with drawing clarifications and updates.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Draftsman.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of HVAC, piping, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Good knowledge of drafting standards and construction practices.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
