Role description
Automation Tester – Summary Automation Tester with strong experience in Pharmacy Domain applications and expertise in designing, developing, and executing automated test solutions for System Integration Testing (SIT), Functional Testing, and API Testing. Skilled in building scalable automation frameworks, integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring high-quality software delivery across cloud-based environments. Experienced in collaborating with business analysts, developers, and QA teams to translate business requirements and user stories into effective automated test coverage. Skills & Competencies Hands-on experience in Test Automation for Functional, Regression, and System Integration Testing (SIT). Proficient in automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber BDD. Strong programming skills in Java, .Net, or JavaScript for test automation development. Experience in API automation testing using Postman, Rest Assured ,Swagger, or similar tools. Strong Data lake/SQL skills for backend data validation, database testing, and automated data verification. Experience in designing and maintaining reusable automation frameworks following industry best practices. Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins or GitLab CI for automated test execution. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and collaborative development workflows. Skilled in test case automation, test data management, defect tracking, and automation reporting. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Azure DevOps Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to identify automation opportunities, improve test coverage, and reduce manual testing effort through continuous process improvements. Key Responsibilities Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications, APIs, and integrated systems. Design automation frameworks to support scalable and maintainable test execution. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality validation. Analyze business requirements and user stories to create robust automated test scenarios. Perform root cause analysis of test failures and collaborate with development teams for resolution. Generate automation execution reports and quality metrics to support release decisions. Ensure compliance with QA processes, standards, and best practices across the testing lifecycle.
