Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer
Experience: 2–5 Years
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech – Mechanical / Production / Metallurgy
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Internal Audits as per company procedures and quality standards.
- Handle and coordinate Customer Audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
- Maintain and implement ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality system requirements.
- Coordinate internal, customer, and certification audits.
- Prepare, review, and implement SOPs and work instructions.
- Prepare and review Control Plans as per process and customer requirements.
- Handle Internal and Customer Complaints and ensure timely resolution.
- Prepare and monitor Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Perform in-house calibration of measuring and inspection instruments.
- Verify and control calibration records and certificates.
- Maintain Aerospace Customer Records, including job photographs, powder consumption records, process records, and other required documentation.
- Maintain Inspection and Test Records (ITR) and ensure proper traceability.
- Prepare and maintain Certificate of Conformance (COC) as per customer requirements.
- Conduct or coordinate sample metallography and hardness testing and maintain test records.
- Carry out sample inspection as per drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
- Perform in-process sample inspection at different stages of production.
- Monitor quality during machining, blasting, masking, plasma spraying/coating, grinding, polishing, and packaging processes.
- Inspect incoming, in-process, and finished components using appropriate measuring instruments.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, inspection standards, and customer requirements.
- Identify quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate corrective actions with Production.
- Maintain NCR, CAPA, inspection reports, quality records, and other QA documentation.
- Coordinate with Production, QC, Store, Purchase, and other departments for quality-related activities.
- Support continuous improvement activities to reduce rejection, rework, and customer complaints.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100.
- Knowledge of Internal and Customer Audits.
- Knowledge of SOP, Control Plan, CAPA, NCR, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments and calibration systems.
- Knowledge of engineering drawings and inspection requirements.
- Understanding of plasma spray/coating and manufacturing processes.
- Good documentation, reporting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with shop-floor teams.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
