Position: Primary Science Facilitator

Job Purpose
To facilitate engaging and inquiry-based science learning for primary school students in alignment with the Cambridge Primary Curriculum. The facilitator will nurture curiosity, critical thinking, and scientific understanding through hands-on learning experiences and student-centered teaching practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver science lessons in accordance with the Cambridge Primary Science curriculum.
- Create a stimulating and inquiry-based learning environment that encourages exploration and experimentation.
- Use hands-on activities, investigations, projects, and real-world connections to enhance learning.
- Assess student learning through formative and summative assessments and provide constructive feedback.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary learning experiences and school initiatives.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and professional development programs.
- Ensure classroom and laboratory safety during practical activities.
- Promote scientific thinking, problem-solving, and environmental awareness among students.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science or a related field.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
- Certification or training in Cambridge curriculum is an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in Primary Science.
- Experience in a Cambridge, IB, or international school setting is preferred.
