Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager with 15+ years of experience in civil engineering and construction project management. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in project planning, execution, and delivery, as well as proven expertise in utilizing modern project management and design tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Execution:
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion within allocated resources.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, supervise, and mentor project teams, including engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and maintain project momentum.
Stakeholder Management:
- Liaise with clients, architects, consultants, and government authorities.
- Ensure that all stakeholders are aligned on project deliverables and timelines.
Quality & Safety Management:
- Ensure all projects adhere to quality standards and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and compliance.
Tool Utilization:
- Proficiently use project management software such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar tools.
- Utilize design tools like AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM software for project planning and design reviews.
- Employ tools for cost estimation, tracking (e.g., Candy), and documentation (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam).
Risk Management:
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Address unforeseen issues promptly to minimize delays or cost overruns.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation for audits and references.
Qualifications & Skills:
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 15 years of experience in civil construction and project management.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure or commercial projects.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, Procore, and similar tools.
- Familiarity with construction codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Soft Skills:
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Certifications:
- PMP (Project Management Professional)
- PRINCE2 Certification
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
- LEED Accreditation (for sustainability-focused projects)
