Job Summary:
The Studio Head to leads the interior design team and is responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and implementing interior design projects that align with the company’s vision, values, and goals. This role involves managing design projects from inception to completion, collaborating with clients and stakeholders, and ensuring that all design work meets the highest standards of creativity, quality, and functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
· Leadership and Management:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of interior designers and support staff.
Foster a collaborative and creative work environment.
Conduct regular team meetings to review project progress and address any issues.
· Project Management:
Oversee the development and execution of interior design projects from concept to completion.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other professionals to ensure project success.
· Design Development:
Develop innovative and functional design concepts that meet client needs and preferences.
Ensure all design work aligns with the company’s brand and quality standards.
Stay updated with the latest design trends, materials, and technologies.
· Client Relations:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring satisfaction.
Present design concepts and proposals to clients and stakeholders.
Handle client feedback and revisions professionally.
· Quality Control:
Ensure all design work is executed to the highest standards of quality and detail.
Conduct site visits to ensure adherence to design plans and resolve any onsite issues.
· Strategic Planning:
Contribute to the strategic planning and development of the design department.
Identify opportunities for growth and improvement within the design team and processes.
Collaborate with other department heads to align design strategies with overall company objectives.
· Budget Management:
Prepare and manage the interior design budget.
Ensure cost-effective use of resources while maintaining design integrity.
· Compliance and Safety:
Ensure all design projects comply with relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
Promote a safe working environment for the design team and contractors.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in interior design, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
Skills:
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent project management abilities.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Exceptional creative and conceptual thinking.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
Knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations.
