Production Manager / Supervisor – Knitted Garments
Seven Seas Enterprise, a Mumbai-based apparel and textile manufacturing and an Export House with factory in Tirupur (Near Vanjipalayam), is looking for an experienced Production Manager / Supervisor to manage day-to-day knitted garment production operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor daily production to achieve quality and delivery targets.
- Supervise sewing, finishing and packing operations and ensure smooth production flow.
- Manage production supervisors, contractors, operators and helpers effectively.
- Monitor productivity, efficiency, WIP, quality, rework and wastage.
- Coordinate with PPC, Quality, Cutting, Stores, Maintenance and other departments.
- Identify production bottlenecks and take timely corrective action.
- Maintain production records and provide regular updates to management.
- Ensure shop-floor discipline, safety and housekeeping.
Candidate Profile
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in knitted garment production.
- Strong hands-on experience in Tiruppur knitwear manufacturing preferred.
- Good manpower management, production planning and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under production and delivery deadlines.
- Knowledge of garment quality, productivity and efficiency improvement.
- Good communication and leadership skills. Prefer multi-lingual candidates.
- Diploma/Degree in Textile, Garment Technology, Production or related field preferred.
