The Warehouse Team Lead is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, managing warehouse staff, ensuring inventory accuracy, and maintaining operational efficiency. The role involves coordinating inbound and outbound activities, monitoring productivity, and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, sorting, picking, packing, scanning, and dispatch activities.
- Lead and manage warehouse associates to achieve operational targets and productivity goals.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and ensure proper stock management.
- Allocate manpower efficiently based on operational requirements.
- Ensure timely processing and dispatch of shipments as per SLA.
- Conduct daily briefings and provide operational guidance to team members.
- Track team performance and provide coaching and training where required.
- Maintain warehouse safety, cleanliness, and compliance with company standards.
- Investigate operational issues and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and maintain daily operational reports and productivity trackers.
- Coordinate with transportation, logistics, and cross-functional teams for smooth operations.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, quality standards, and company policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in any discipline.
- 2–5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, supply chain, or operations management.
- Prior experience in team handling and warehouse supervision preferred.
- Knowledge of inventory management and warehouse processes.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Ability to work in rotational shifts.
Pay: ₹21,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
