Here's what you'll need
BE/B Tech/ME/M Tech Electrical
Minimum 18+ of experience in primary/physical/plant design (AIS & GIS Substation experience up to 1200kV & 765kV is desirable.)
Working experience and leading projects based in India/Europe/ME/NAM/ANZ.
Design (Concept, FEED, and detail design) of T & D systems up to 1200/765kV – for Utility companies based on international standards – for USA , UK, Europe, Australia, and Middle East regions.
The candidate should have knowledge in both primary detailed engineering of EHV AIS substations and subject matter expert.
The candidate should be well versed with International Standards i.e. IEEE, ANSI and IEC.
Candidate expertise in detailed design of electrical substation facilities including Single Line Diagram, Protection Single Line diagram, General Arrangement layout, Sectional Layout, Erection key diagram, Direct Stroke Lightning protection, LT AC/DC diagrams, Lighting, ground mat design, Power One Line diagram, Cable trench/conduit layout and installation details, control enclosure layout, LT AC/DC diagrams.
Candidate expertise in substation physical/primary engineering calculations but not limited to Bus sizing, cantilever strength, sag tension, short circuit force, MV/LV Cable sizing, Station service transformer sizing, cable trench/conduit sizing, lightning protection and risk assessment etc
Applies broad practical knowledge to the review of design layouts from a technical and quality perspective.
Review of Substation maintenance access layouts, Cable Trenches layouts, Control Enclosure drawings, Busbar connection Layouts.
Performs Equipment sizing calculations like Transformer, Generator, HV/LV cable, AC UPS, Battery, Capacitor banks, conductor sizing, fault level, indoor & outdoor illumination, grounding/earthing and lightning protection etc.
Prepare technical specifications, data sheets for electrical equipment’s like transformers, circuit breakers, instrument transformers, surge arresters, DG sets, MV/LT switchgear, UPS, Battery & Battery charger, Distribution boards etc.
Vendor drawing review of all the electrical equipment’s & calculations.
Technical Bid evaluation/documentation.
Ability to carry out inter- disciplinary coordination.
Resolve any design issues & coordinate effectively with leads.
Plan, schedule, conduct, and communicate work with team members all design aspects of the project.
Attend client meetings for technical clarifications.
Capable of working under challenging workload subject to change at short notice.
Good communication & IT skills.

Chartered Engineer (CEng), or Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent in the relevant field from any global organization (e.g., Institution of Electrical Engineers, UK)
Proficiency in MS Outlook, and MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Expert in Design and review of Transmission and distribution systems.
