Key Responsibilities
AI Security & Governance
- Define and implement enterprise-wide AI Security & Governance strategy.
- Establish governance frameworks for GenAI, LLMs, Agentic AI, and ML systems.
- Develop Responsible AI policies, AI risk management controls, and governance standards.
- Lead AI model security initiatives including prompt injection protection, model abuse prevention, adversarial AI risk mitigation, and data privacy controls.
- Drive governance across AI lifecycle management including model development, deployment, monitoring, and explainability.
- Ensure alignment with emerging regulations such as EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, GDPR, HIPAA, and enterprise governance standards.
Cybersecurity Leadership
- Own enterprise cybersecurity strategy, risk management, and security governance programs.
- Lead cloud security initiatives across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
- Strengthen IAM, PAM, Zero Trust, SOC, SIEM, vulnerability management, and incident response capabilities.
- Oversee enterprise security architecture reviews and risk assessments.
- Manage third-party/vendor security risk and compliance.
Governance & Compliance
- Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Data Governance teams to define enterprise AI policies.
- Lead security and compliance audits including ISO 27001, SOC2, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and GDPR readiness.
- Establish governance committees and executive reporting mechanisms for AI and cybersecurity oversight.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on cybersecurity and AI-related risks.
- Build and mentor high-performing security and governance teams.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Legal, and Compliance functions.
- Present risk posture, governance updates, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and board stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Risk Management, or Governance leadership roles.
- Proven experience as a CISO, Deputy CISO, Security Head, or AI Governance Leader in enterprise environments.
- Strong expertise in AI Security, GenAI Governance, Responsible AI, and LLM risk management.
- Deep understanding of enterprise cybersecurity frameworks and cloud security architecture.
- Experience with AI governance frameworks such as NIST AI RMF, Responsible AI standards, and AI compliance practices.
- Strong exposure to IAM/PAM, Zero Trust, SIEM/SOC operations, and enterprise risk management.
- Experience managing security governance in cloud-native and hybrid environments.
- Strong knowledge of compliance standards including ISO 27001, SOC2, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and EU AI Act.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CRISC, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, or equivalent certifications.
- Exposure to AI/ML platforms, RAG architectures, Agentic AI systems, and AI model governance.
- Experience in regulated industries such as Healthcare, BFSI, Pharma, or Manufacturing preferred.
- Familiarity with AI ethics, explainability, and model monitoring frameworks.
