Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating Rotogravure Printing Machines in a BOPP Bag or Flexible Packaging Manufacturing company.
Educational Qualification
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Printing Technology, or a related technical field preferred.
- Candidates with 12th Pass and relevant industry experience may also be considered.

Job Purpose
The Rotogravure Printing Machine Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining rotogravure printing machines used for printing BOPP films for woven bags. The role focuses on producing high-quality printed rolls as per customer specifications while ensuring maximum productivity, minimum wastage, and compliance with quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities1. Machine Setup
- Read and understand production orders, job cards, artwork, and customer specifications.
- Mount and align printing cylinders, doctor blades, ink pans, and impression rollers.
- Load BOPP film rolls and ensure proper web alignment and tension.
- Set machine parameters including:
- Printing speed
- Drying temperature
- Web tension
- Print registration
- Printing pressure
2. Printing Operations
- Operate the Rotogravure Printing Machine safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate print registration throughout production.
- Achieve precise colour matching as per approved standards.
- Monitor ink viscosity and solvent ratios to maintain consistent print quality.
- Continuously inspect printed film for defects and make necessary machine adjustments.
Required Knowledge & Skills
- Good knowledge of Rotogravure Printing processes.
- Experience in printing BOPP films for woven bag manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of:
- Colour matching
- Print registration control
- Ink preparation
- Ink viscosity control
- Solvent handling
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot printing defects.
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.
