The Back Office Showroom Executive bridges the gap between front-facing showroom sales and back-end operations. In this role, you will manage customer inquiries, prepare detailed quotations, coordinate with the factory/production team, and ensure smooth order fulfillment. The ideal candidate has excellent organizational skills, a strong understanding of product specifications (dimensions, materials, finishes), and a customer-first mindset.
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Support & Showroom Operations
- Customer Greetings: Assist walk-in clients, architects, and contractors when the front sales team is occupied.
- Product Guidance: Explain door types (e.g., solid wood, flush, laminate, fire-rated) and technical specifications to clients.
- Inquiry Management: Handle incoming phone calls, emails, and WhatsApp business inquiries promptly.
Documentation & Quotations
- Quote Preparation: Create accurate price quotations based on customer measurements, material choices, and hardware requirements.
- Invoice Generation: Generate proforma invoices, sales orders, and final tax invoices using ERP or accounting software.
- Record Keeping: Maintain an organized digital and physical filing system for client orders, site measurements, and payments.
Logistics & Production Coordination
- Factory Liaison: Submit approved technical order sheets to the manufacturing unit.
- Order Tracking: Follow up with the production team to monitor manufacturing timelines and ensure on-time delivery.
- Dispatch Coordination: Arrange logistics for delivering doors safely to client sites or showrooms, minimizing transit damage.
After-Sales & Database Management
- Feedback Collection: Follow up with clients post-delivery to ensure satisfaction regarding door quality and installation.
- CRM Management: Regularly update customer databases, tracking leads from the initial inquiry to final payment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in back-office operations, showroom coordination, or sales support (experience in building materials, furniture, or interior hardware is a strong plus).
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel for calculating dimensions and pricing structures).
- Familiarity with CRM systems or ERP software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Zoho).
- Ability to read basic architectural drawings or measurement sheets is an advantage.
- Soft Skills:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail to avoid manufacturing errors in custom door sizes.
- Excellent multitasking and time-management abilities.
Pay: ₹10,715.08 - ₹31,469.54 per month
