Job Title: Branch Head – Pre-SchoolLocation: [Branch Location]Reports To: [Director / Head of Operations / Management]Job PurposeThe Branch Head – Pre-School is responsible for the overall academic, operational, andadministrative management of the pre-school branch. The role ensures high-quality earlychildhood education, smooth day-to-day functioning, staff performance, parent satisfaction,safety, and achievement of enrolment targets.Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic & Curriculum Leadership● Ensure effective implementation of the pre-school curriculum aligned with earlychildhood development standards● Monitor classroom practices, lesson planning, and child progress● Guide teachers on age-appropriate pedagogy, activities, and assessments● Ensure compliance with pre-school academic frameworks and child developmentguidelinesCentre Operations & Administration● Oversee daily pre-school operations ensuring a safe, nurturing, and well-organizedenvironment● Ensure adherence to SOPs, hygiene standards, safety norms, and statutoryrequirements● Manage centre schedules, events, celebrations, and parent engagement programs● Coordinate with support teams for facilities, transport, and suppliesStaff Leadership & Management● Lead, mentor, and manage teachers, caregivers, and support staff● Support recruitment, training, onboarding, and performance evaluations● Conduct regular observations, feedback, and staff development sessions● Foster a positive, caring, and professional work cultureParent Relationship Management● Act as the primary point of contact for parents● Address parent queries, concerns, and feedback promptly and effectively● Conduct parent orientations, meetings, and events● Ensure high levels of parent satisfaction and retentionAdmissions & Business Growth● Drive enrolments and admissions targets for the pre-school branch● Support marketing activities, school visits, and outreach programs● Ensure optimal classroom occupancy and child retention● Monitor branch expenses and resource utilizationChild Safety & Wellbeing● Ensure physical, emotional, and psychological safety of all children● Implement and monitor child protection, safety, and hygiene policies● Ensure proper supervision, discipline, and pastoral care● Promote an inclusive, warm, and development-focused environmentQualifications & Experience● Graduate / Postgraduate in Education, Early Childhood Education, or related field● B.Ed / NTT / ECCE certification preferred● Minimum 5–8 years of experience in pre-school or early childhood education, with atleast 2–3 years in a leadership roleSkills & Competencies● Strong leadership and people-management skills● Excellent communication with parents, staff, and stakeholders● Deep understanding of early childhood education and care● Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities● Ability to manage operations, academics, and business goals simultaneouslyKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)● Quality of early learning delivery● Child safety and wellbeing standards● Parent satisfaction and feedback● Enrolment and retention numbers● Staff performance and engagem
