Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Interior Design Faculty / Trainer to educate, mentor, and inspire students pursuing careers in interior design. The ideal candidate should possess strong industry knowledge, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to bridge theoretical concepts with practical applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging classroom lectures, studio sessions, workshops, and practical demonstrations.
- Develop and update lesson plans, curriculum, and training materials aligned with industry standards.
- Teach subjects such as:
- Interior Design Fundamentals
- Space Planning
- Furniture Design
- Materials and Finishes
- Building Services
- Lighting Design
- Color Theory
- Design Software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Photoshop, etc.)
- Guide students in design projects, portfolios, and presentations.
- Evaluate assignments, projects, and examinations, and provide constructive feedback.
- Mentor students in creativity, technical skills, and professional development.
- Organize site visits, guest lectures, workshops, and industry interactions.
- Stay updated with current design trends, technologies, and sustainable design practices.
- Maintain student attendance, academic records, and assessment reports.
- Participate in curriculum development, admissions activities, seminars, exhibitions, and institute events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Relevant teaching or industry experience (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of design principles, building materials, furniture, lighting, and space planning.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Adobe Photoshop, and MS Office.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
