Role Overview
The Academic Counsellor Team Lead will be responsible for leading the academic counselling team, guiding prospective students on suitable professional courses, managing admissions, and ensuring the achievement of branch enrollment targets. The role requires strong leadership, counseling skills, and the ability to manage a team effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the academic counselling team at the branch
- Guide students and parents on professional courses such as CA, CMA, ACCA, CS, CMA USA, and EA
- Conduct career counselling sessions and explain course structures, career opportunities, and exam pathways
- Monitor and ensure the achievement of monthly admission targets
- Train and support counsellors to improve conversion and counselling quality
- Handle walk-in enquiries, phone enquiries, and online leads
- Coordinate with the Business Development team for lead generation and follow-ups
- Maintain accurate records of student enquiries, conversions, and reports
- Ensure a high level of student satisfaction and professional guidance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree / Master’s Degree in any discipline
- Experience in education counselling, admissions, or sales leadership preferred
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in a counselling or admissions role (education sector preferred)
