Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities, vendor coordination, and inventory planning. The candidate should have strong negotiation skills, experience in purchasing operations, and a good understanding of demand forecasting to ensure timely availability of materials while optimizing costs.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate commercial terms.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) as per company requirements.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure uninterrupted material availability.
- Analyze consumption patterns and assist in demand forecasting and procurement planning.
- Track order status and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and documentation.
- Coordinate with warehouse, finance, and operations teams for smooth procurement processes.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
- Resolve supplier-related issues regarding quality, delivery, and pricing.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations.
- Knowledge of demand forecasting, inventory management, and procurement planning.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience in FMCG, Retail, Manufacturing, or E-commerce industry.
- Knowledge of inventory forecasting techniques and supply chain best practices.
- Familiarity with procurement KPIs and reporting.
