Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and responsible Electrician with experience in the hospitality industry to handle electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work across hotel facilities. The candidate should ensure smooth functioning of all electrical systems while maintaining safety standards and guest comfort.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
- Maintain lighting systems, power supply, DB panels, wiring, switches, and sockets.
- Handle maintenance of hotel guest rooms, public areas, banquet halls, kitchen, laundry, and back-office electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure quick resolution with minimal downtime.
- Operate and monitor DG sets, UPS systems, and electrical control panels.
- Coordinate with engineering and maintenance teams for daily operations.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and hotel SOPs.
- Maintain maintenance logs and report major issues to the Engineering Supervisor/Manager.
- Support during events, weddings, and banquet functions for uninterrupted electrical operations.
- Assist in energy-saving initiatives and efficient power usage.
Requirements:-
- ITI Certification in Electrician Trade is mandatory.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in hotels, resorts, or hospitality industry.
- Good knowledge of electrical maintenance, wiring, panels, and troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of DG sets, HVAC electricals, and hotel utility systems preferred.
- Ability to work in shifts and handle emergency maintenance situations.
- Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred SkillsKnowledge of hotel engineering operations.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and preventive maintenance practices.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal departments.
