Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the overall sales strategy for the Fresh Fruits & Vegetables category to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Drive business development by identifying new market opportunities across domestic and international markets.
- Build and strengthen relationships with key customers across Modern Trade, General Trade, HoReCa, Retail Chains, Institutional Buyers, and Distributors.
- Develop and expand export business by identifying new international markets, distributors, and strategic partners.
- Lead contract negotiations and secure long-term business partnerships with key accounts.
- Develop and implement Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies for new products and category expansion.
- Analyze market trends, customer demand, competitor activities, and pricing to drive business growth.
- Own and manage the category's Profit & Loss (P&L), ensuring sustainable revenue growth and profitability.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, demand plans, and business projections to support production and procurement planning.
- Drive category performance through effective pricing, product mix, and commercial strategies.
- Coordinate closely with Procurement, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, Marketing, and Production teams to ensure seamless order execution and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor sales performance, customer profitability, and key business KPIs, implementing corrective actions where required.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team to enhance productivity and achieve business objectives.
Required Experience:
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in Sales and Business Development within the Fresh Fruits & Vegetables, Fresh Produce, Agri-business, or Food Distribution industry.
- Proven experience in National Sales Management and Export Sales.
- Strong network within Modern Trade, Retail Chains, HoReCa, Institutional Sales, Export Markets, and Distribution Channels.
- Experience in developing and executing national sales strategies and market expansion initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to acquire and manage strategic key accounts.
- Experience in category management and commercial planning.
- Strong understanding of supply chain dynamics and fresh produce operations.
- Excellent negotiation, leadership, and relationship management skills.
Pay: ₹1,900,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
