We currently have an Intermediate Accountant (Audit) position available with our client Blick Rothenberg.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate effectively with the audit team to support engagement delivery

Assist in the completion of audit fieldwork, including planned substantive and analytical procedures

Support the planning and completion of audit assignments, ensuring audit files are accurate and well-documented

Prepare statutory financial statements based on client data

Identify and escalate key risk areas or matters of concern to the Partner/Director/Manager/AIC (PDMA), applying professional judgement

Gradually take on greater responsibility in planning, execution, and finalization of audit assignments for review

Work in a collaborative environment with a focus on continuous learning and high performance
Skills & Experience & Qualifications

Semi Qualified Chartered Accountant or any degree in accounting.

1+ years of statutory audit experience.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills; able to show initiative and apply strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Solid knowledge of financial statement preparation and the ability to review disclosures using checklists

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Exceptional attention to detail and technical proficiency.

Awareness of business trends and emerging industry and technical developments.

Effective team player with a proactive and motivated approach
