Job Summary
We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer with hands-on experience in CRGO or steel processing plants to ensure reliable operation of production equipment through effective preventive and breakdown maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of CRGO plant equipment
- Maintain and troubleshoot rolling mills, annealing furnaces, pickling lines, slitting lines, coating lines, and auxiliary systems
- Diagnose mechanical/electrical faults and execute timely corrective actions
- Monitor equipment performance and reduce unplanned downtime
- Maintain maintenance records, checklists, and shift reports
- Coordinate with production teams for planned shutdowns and maintenance activities
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, SOPs, and plant regulations
- Support installation, commissioning, and modification of equipment
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance work
Qualifications
- Diploma / BE / BTech in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering
- 2–3 years of experience in CRGO steel plant or similar steel manufacturing environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
