Job Summery:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Interior Site Engineer / Finishing Engineer to lead the execution of a 5-star hotel project in Goa. The civil structure is already completed, and the candidate will now manage the coordination, supervision, and completion of all remaining technical, interior, and service works.
This is a critical on-site role involving collaboration with interior designers, MEP contractors, and vendor teams. The ideal candidate will also be considered for a long-term role in hotel engineering/maintenance after handover.
Roles and responsibilities:
Project Execution
- Supervise day-to-day site operations: interior finishes, MEP, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, etc.
- Coordinate with interior architect and MEP contractors to ensure timely execution
- Maintain site schedule, quality control, safety compliance, and work progress tracking
- Raise material and manpower requirements and coordinate timely delivery
Vendor & Team Coordination
- Monitor and report contractor/vendor performance
- Supervise junior engineers, site supervisors, and subcontractors
- Work closely with procurement/store team to track material flow
Technical Oversight
- Ensure proper installation of electrical panels, AC units, fire alarm systems, drainage, and hotel systems
- Review drawings and ensure execution as per approved BOQs/specs
- Assist in final testing, commissioning, and handover of services
Reporting & Handover
- Maintain daily and weekly progress reports
- Escalate delays and issues promptly to management
- Coordinate with operations team for transition to hotel opening
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Interior Engineering, or Mechanical/Electrical with site experience
- Minimum 5 years of site execution experience
- Strong knowledge of interior finishes, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and fire systems
- Excellent coordination skills with consultants and vendors
- Familiarity with project tracking tools, BOQ, and site documentation
- Candidates preferred or willing to relocate immediately
