Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled PLC Programmer with experience in the electrical panel and industrial automation industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for PLC programming, HMI/SCADA development, electrical panel testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting automation systems for industrial applications.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs.
2. Design and configure HMI and SCADA applications.
3. Perform testing and commissioning of electrical control panels at customer sites.
4. Read and interpret electrical drawings, control schematics, and panel layouts.
5. Configure and troubleshoot industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Ethernet/IP, and Profinet.
6. Coordinate with electrical design, production, and project teams for successful project execution.
7. Prepare technical documentation, backups, and commissioning reports.
8. Provide technical support during installation and after project handover.
Required Skills
1. Hands-on experience with PLC programming platforms such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Delta, Schneider, Omron, or ABB.
2. Experience in HMI development (WinCC, FactoryTalk View, Weintek, Pro-face, etc.).
3. Good understanding of VFDs, servo drives, industrial sensors, and control systems.
4. Knowledge of industrial networking and communication protocols.
5. Ability to troubleshoot automation systems independently.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Willingness to travel for site commissioning, if required.
Qualifications
1. Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
2. 2–5 years of relevant experience in PLC programming and electrical control panel automation.
Preferred Experience
1. Electrical control panel manufacturing.
2. Industrial automation projects.
3. Machine automation and process control systems.
