Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Quality Assurance Engineer (Automation) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing manual & automated test scripts to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications. This role requires close collaboration with development and BA or product team and active involvement in continuous quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to understand requirements and ensure adequate test coverage.
- Design and develop manual test cases to ensure test cases are aligned with the feature and are thoroughly tested
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
- Design and develop SQL scripts for testing data
- Perform sanity, functional, regression, and basic performance testing for web and mobile applications.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Identify, document, track, and validate defects; work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Continuously enhance automation frameworks, test coverage, and overall testing processes.
- Participate in requirement reviews, test planning, and estimation activities.
- Perform load and/or performance testing
- Stay updated with emerging QA tools, technologies, and industry best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with strong focus on automation testing & Data (SQL) testing.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools like Playwright (preferably), Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.
- Experience in API testing using scripting as well as tools such as Postman or RestAssured.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (Git), and build tools.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and QA best practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience on load or performance testing is a plus
- ISTQB certification is a plus

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
