This role requires someone who can provide excellent vision care services, conduct eye examinations, recommend suitable corrective solutions, and deliver a great customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive eye tests and vision assessments for customers
- Diagnose refractive errors and recommend corrective lenses accordingly
- Prescribe suitable spectacles, contact lenses, and vision correction solutions
- Guide customers in selecting eyewear based on prescription and lifestyle needs
- Ensure accurate measurements including PD, fitting, and lens recommendations
- Maintain patient records and documentation accurately
- Support showroom operations and coordinate with the sales team for smooth customer handling
- Educate customers on eye health, lens care, and preventive eye care practices
- Maintain high standards of service and customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Bachelor’s/Diploma in Optometry or relevant qualification
- 2–3 years of experience as an Optometrist
- Strong knowledge of eye testing procedures and vision care solutions
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-focused approach with strong problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable working in a retail/showroom environment
- Basic computer knowledge for record management
