We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Fintech Sales Trainer who can empower sales teams with product knowledge, sales excellence, market understanding, and customer engagement skills.
Position Overview
The Fintech Sales Trainer will be responsible for designing and delivering impactful training programs for field sales teams, onboarding employees, channel partners, and business development teams. The ideal candidate should possess strong fintech industry exposure, excellent communication skills, and hands-on experience in sales training and performance enhancement.
Key ResponsibilitiesTraining & Development
- Conduct induction and onboarding training for new sales hires.
- Design and implement sales training modules for fintech products and services.
- Deliver engaging classroom, virtual, and field-based training sessions.
- Train teams on digital payments, POS solutions, merchant acquisition, banking products, and customer handling.
- Develop training manuals, presentations, SOPs, and learning materials.
Sales Capability Enhancement
- Identify sales skill gaps and create improvement plans.
- Coach field sales executives on objection handling, negotiation, pitching, and closing techniques.
- Monitor post-training performance and measure training effectiveness.
- Conduct refresher training and ongoing skill development sessions.
Product & Market Training
- Ensure teams are updated on fintech industry trends, compliance requirements, and competitor activities.
- Simplify complex financial and technical concepts into easy-to-understand training content.
- Collaborate with sales leadership for product launch training and process updates.
Performance Monitoring
- Track training attendance, assessments, certifications, and productivity improvements.
- Prepare reports and dashboards related to training outcomes.
- Support regional managers in driving sales performance through learning initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
- 5–9 years of experience in sales training within fintech, banking, NBFC, payments, or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of:
- Digital payment ecosystem
- Merchant acquisition
- POS/MPOS devices
- UPI & QR payment systems
- Banking and fintech sales processes
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and coaching abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and training tools.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Prior experience in fintech sales operations or channel sales training.
- Ability to travel for regional training programs.
- Energetic, motivational, and performance-driven personality.
- Experience in handling large field sales teams across multiple locations.
