Job Description: HR Executive
We are seeking a dynamic HR Executive to manage our retail store’s - Samraat's human resources operations. This field-oriented role primarily focuses on managing and supporting our ground-level retail workforce, including blue-collar employees (store helpers, loaders, delivery staff, and security personnel). The selected candidate will work directly at the retail store location and is required to visit our central office in Pune once a week for reporting, strategy alignments, and administrative updates. Key Responsibilities1. Sourcing & Field Recruitment
- Execute field-hiring strategies to recruit store associates, helpers, loaders, and delivery personnel.
- Partner with local agencies, contractors, and job portals to maintain a steady pipeline of blue-collar talent.
- Conduct quick spot-interviews and immediate onboarding to minimize store operational downtime. [1, 2, 4]
2. Workforce Management & Operations
- Track daily attendance, shift rotations, biometric logs, and over-time data for ground staff.
- Manage leave requests and coordinate standby replacements to prevent store under-staffing.
- Oversee employee documentation, including basic background verifications and physical file management. [1, 2, 3, 5, 8]
3. Employee Relations & Grievance Redressal
- Act as the primary contact for blue-collar staff regarding salary discrepancies, uniform issues, or shift disputes.
- Resolve workplace conflicts rapidly to maintain a high-energy and disciplined store environment.
- Communicate company policies clearly in universal or local languages (Marathi/Hindi) so all staff understand expectations. [2, 3, 8, 9, 10]
4. Compliance & Payroll Support
- Gather monthly payroll inputs (days worked, fines, and bonuses) for corporate payroll processing.
- Ensure compliance basics regarding local labor practices, store timings, and worker safety guidelines.
- Coordinate ESIC and PF distribution queries with the central Pune office team. [2, 3, 5]
5. Corporate Reporting
- Travel once per week to the main Pune office.
- Present attrition metrics, hiring updates, and compliance logs to the HR Manager. [3, 4, 11]
Job RequirementsSkills & Competencies
- Strong verbal communication skills in Hindi and Marathi (essential for managing local blue-collar workers).
- High emotional intelligence to deal patiently with ground-level staff challenges.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel to handle attendance registries and workforce tracker sheets.
- Ability to multi-task in a loud, fast-paced retail floor setting.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Graduate in any stream or a Bachelor's/Master's degree in HR.
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of hands-on HR experience in Retail, Manufacturing, Logistics, or Hospitality.
- Industry Preference: Direct experience handling blue-collar laborers or contract staff is heavily favored.
Pay: ₹9,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
