Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and passionate PGT Physics Teacher to join our CBSE Senior Secondary School. The ideal candidate should have strong conceptual knowledge of Physics, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to prepare students for both CBSE Board Examinations and competitive entrance examinations such as NEET and JEE (Main & Advanced).
The candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging classroom instruction, developing students' problem-solving abilities, conducting assessments, and mentoring students towards academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities Academic Delivery & Teaching
- Teach Physics for Classes XI and XII as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Develop and deliver structured lesson plans covering core Physics concepts including:
- Mechanics
- Electrostatics
- Current Electricity
- Magnetism
- Electromagnetic Induction
- Optics
- Modern Physics
- Thermodynamics
- Waves & Oscillations
- Integrate CBSE syllabus concepts with NEET and JEE preparation strategies.
- Build strong conceptual understanding and numerical problem-solving skills among students.
- Use innovative teaching methodologies, demonstrations, and real-world applications to improve student engagement.
NEET & JEE Preparation
- Train students for NEET and JEE Physics sections through:
- Concept-based teaching
- Advanced problem-solving techniques
- Previous year question analysis
- Mock tests and assessments
- Time management strategies
- Develop competitive exam-oriented worksheets, assignments, and practice materials.
- Conduct regular doubt-clearing sessions and additional academic support classes.
- Analyze student performance and provide individual mentoring.
Assessment & Academic Planning
- Prepare question papers, assignments, worksheets, and revision materials.
- Conduct periodic tests and evaluate student progress.
- Maintain student performance records and provide feedback.
- Identify learning gaps and implement improvement strategies.
- Support students in achieving academic targets.
Classroom Management & Student Mentoring
- Create a positive and disciplined learning environment.
- Mentor students academically and guide them for higher education pathways.
- Encourage scientific thinking, curiosity, and analytical skills.
- Communicate student progress with parents and academic coordinators.
Academic Contribution
- Participate in department meetings and curriculum planning.
- Support school academic activities, science exhibitions, and workshops.
- Stay updated with CBSE curriculum changes and NEET/JEE examination patterns.
- Collaborate with other faculty members for integrated academic planning.
Required Qualifications
Essential:
- Master's Degree (M.Sc. Physics) from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. qualification preferred/required as per school norms.
- Strong command of Physics concepts and applications.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Preferred:
- Experience teaching CBSE Classes XI & XII Physics.
- Experience in NEET/JEE coaching or integrated school programs.
- Experience in preparing students for competitive examinations.
Experience Required
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience teaching Physics for Senior Secondary Classes (XI & XII).
- Candidates with proven NEET/JEE Physics teaching experience will be preferred.
- Experience handling board examination preparation and competitive exam batches is an advantage.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
