About ResQBag: ResQBag is an early-stage food-tech startup on a mission to eliminate food waste in India. We connect consumers with surplus, high-quality food from local restaurants and cafes at a 50%+ discount - saving money for customers and recovering lost revenue for restaurants. We are building from the ground up and looking for bold, hungry individuals to grow with us.
The Role: We are looking for a Business Development Intern who is confident, persuasive, and loves talking to people. This is a high-impact, field-based role where you will be the face of ResQBag on the ground.
Phase 1 — Restaurant Partnerships (Immediate):
- Identify and visit local cafes, bakeries, cloud kitchens, and QSRs in your area.
- Walk in, introduce ResQBag to the owner or manager, and pitch the concept confidently.
- Handle objections, answer questions and get restaurants successfully onboarded onto the platform.
- Maintain a daily report of visits, responses, and sign-ups.
Phase 2 — Customer Outreach (Upcoming):
- Attend local events, college fests, and high-footfall areas to introduce ResQBag to potential customers.
- Build personal connections with early adopters and gather real-world feedback.
- Help grow the user base through direct, on-ground community engagement.
