Job Overview
We are hiring an experienced Site Head for complete operational ownership of our Tumb site. The role demands strong leadership across manpower, administration, HR/IR, safety, client coordination, and cost control in a high-intensity industrial/logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities
Site Administration & Governance
- Manage end-to-end site administration, compliance, audits, permits, and statutory requirements
- Ensure disciplined execution of reporting, documentation, training, inspections, and manpower deployment
- Maintain strict control over attendance, PPE issuance, shift handovers, and operational records
Manpower, HR/IR & Discipline Management
- Lead and manage large workforce including supervisors, operators, drivers, and support staff
- Enforce strict discipline in attendance, punctuality, and conduct
- Handle grievances, conflicts, and industrial relations matters
- Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management
Client Coordination & Performance Delivery
- Act as primary point of contact for client at site
- Ensure KPI-driven performance and service delivery excellence
- Manage meetings, escalations, and transparent communication
Operations Management
- Oversee daily shift operations and manpower deployment
- Ensure strict adherence to SOPs and operational protocols
- Supervise shift in-charges for seamless execution
Equipment & Asset Management
- Monitor utilization of equipment such as forklifts, reach stackers, ITVs, and MHE
- Track fuel consumption, maintenance, logbooks, and inspections
- Ensure optimal usage and prevent misuse
Safety & Compliance
- Enforce HSE standards, PPE compliance, and safety protocols
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings
- Lead incident investigations and corrective actions
Vendor & Cost Control
- Manage vendors for manpower, equipment, and services
- Validate bills and ensure cost efficiency
- Drive operational improvement initiatives
MIS & Reporting
- Ensure timely daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
- Track KPIs including productivity, uptime, manpower utilization, safety, and cost
- Maintain audit-ready documentation at all times

Experience Required
- 12–20 years of relevant experience in ICD/CFS, logistics yards, rail terminals, manufacturing, mining, industrial operations, or O&M roles
- Strong exposure to container handling, yard operations, or terminal management preferred
- Proven experience in handling large workforce and client-facing responsibilities
