Job Description : Faculty – Cinematography
- Prepare and deliver lectures, practical sessions, and workshops on cinematography to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Develop and update course syllabi, instructional materials, and assessment methods to ensure effective learning outcomes.
- Provide guidance, feedback, and mentorship on visual storytelling, camera operations, lighting techniques, lensing, composition, and production workflows.
- Facilitate discussions and critical analysis of films, cinematographic theories, and emerging industry trends.
- Conduct classes covering both conventional filmmaking practices and emerging digital/electronic media technologies.
- Integrate AI-driven tools and workflows in cinematography education, including virtual production, AI-assisted previsualization, image generation, shot planning, and post-production technologies.
- Guide students in the ethical, creative, and professional use of AI and emerging technologies in visual storytelling and content creation.
- Coordinate examinations, departmental assessments, evaluations, and student projects.
- Participate in entrance examinations, admissions processes, and evaluation activities as assigned.
- Strengthen departmental knowledge resources by recommending and curating relevant books, journals, software, AI tools, and audio-visual reference materials.
- Supervise practical exercises, workshops, productions, and capstone projects, ensuring both theoretical and hands-on learning.
- Lead departmental meetings, curriculum development initiatives, and academic program reviews.
- Oversee the selection and evaluation of cinematography-related courses, textbooks, equipment, and learning resources.
- Provide academic advising and career guidance to students.
- Serve on institutional committees and contribute to academic administration, industry collaborations, and accreditation activities.
Experience Required: 8–10 Years
Work Hours: 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Work Days: Monday – Friday
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
