Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site BCom & BBA Faculty role based in Bengaluru. The faculty member will teach undergraduate courses in Commerce and Business Administration, including core and elective subjects as per the university curriculum. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, delivering lectures, conducting tutorials, facilitating classroom discussions, and using diverse teaching methods to engage students. The role involves designing assessments, evaluating student performance, providing academic guidance, and maintaining accurate records of attendance and grades. The faculty member will also contribute to curriculum enhancement, participate in departmental meetings, support co-curricular activities, mentor students in projects or internships, and assist with institutional initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong subject knowledge in Commerce and Business Administration, with the ability to teach BCom and BBA subjects effectively.
- Proficiency in lesson planning, classroom management, and student-centric teaching methodologies.
- Ability to design and evaluate assignments, tests, presentations, and project work fairly and transparently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Commitment to mentoring, counseling, and supporting students’ academic and professional development.
- Master’s degree in Commerce, Management, or a related discipline (M.Com, MBA, or equivalent); NET/SET or PhD preferred as per regulatory norms.
- Familiarity with university regulations, academic documentation, and continuous internal evaluation processes.
- Comfort with basic educational technology, including learning management systems, presentation tools, and online resources.
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues, participate in academic and administrative committees, and contribute to institutional development.
- Prior teaching experience at the undergraduate level is an advantage; industry experience in commerce or management is a plus.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
