We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with deep expertise in tax compliance, statutory filings, and legal documentation for both India (GST) and the UAE (VAT). The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end accounting operations, ensure flawless compliance with cross-border tax regulations, and handle corporate legal documentation.

Key Responsibilities
1. Indirect Tax & Compliance (India & UAE)
- UAE VAT Management: Oversee UAE VAT compliance, including accurate calculation, preparation, and timely filing of VAT returns via the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) portal. Stay updated on UAE corporate tax developments.
- Indian GST Management: Handle end-to-end GST compliance, including filing GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9/9C, and reconciliation of GSTR-2B with purchase registers.
- Tax Audits & Assessments: Coordinate and prepare required documentation for tax audits, assessments, and internal financial reviews for both jurisdictions.
- Cross-Border Transactions: Properly account for and document import/export of services and goods, Reverse Charge Mechanism (RCM), and inter-company transactions.
2. Legal Documentation & Corporate Filing
- Draft, review, and maintain essential financial agreements, commercial contracts, and vendor documentation.
- Manage corporate secretarial filings, business license renewals, and statutory documentation required by local authorities in India and the UAE.
- Ensure all business operations align with the latest labor laws, financial regulations, and corporate compliance standards of both regions.
- Company documentation and legal compliances.
3. Core Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Perform monthly closing activities, including bank reconciliations, inter-company reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for management review.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or PG in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
- Experience: 4–7 years of core accounting experience, with at least 2+ years of hands-on experience handling UAE VAT and 2+ years handling Indian GST.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of accounting ecosystems (e.g., Tally Prime, Zoho Books, QuickBooks) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of UAE FTA regulations and Indian CBIC rules.
- Skills: Exceptional analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate financial complexities clearly to management.
