Role Overview
The Business Consultant plays a key role in supporting business growth by providing strategic insights and business analysis. The role focuses on understanding client businesses, evaluating opportunities, and delivering data-driven recommendations that help clients improve performance, achieve their objectives, and make informed business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Client Discovery & Consulting
- Conduct business discovery meetings with founders, promoters, and leadership teams to understand their business model, operational challenges, growth objectives, and consulting requirements.
- Identify opportunities where RAC's Build, Operate, and Scale services can create measurable business value.
- Define the scope of consulting engagements, expected outcomes, project timelines, and success metrics in coordination with internal stakeholders.
Business Strategy Development
- Facilitate strategy workshops with client leadership teams.
- Assist in developing business strategies covering operations, sales, marketing, organization structure, expansion planning, and performance improvement.
- Translate business challenges into structured consulting projects with clear deliverables.
Project Implementation & Monitoring
- Act as the primary consulting coordinator throughout the client engagement.
- Monitor implementation of agreed action plans and ensure milestones are achieved within defined timelines.
- Conduct periodic review meetings with clients to assess progress, identify challenges, and recommend corrective actions.
- Track project KPIs and prepare implementation status reports for both the client and RAC management
- Ensure consulting recommendations are effectively executed and adopted by the client organization.
Performance Measurement
Responsible for tracking:
- Project completion timelines
- Client satisfaction
- Consulting outcomes
- Business improvement achieved
- Repeat consulting opportunities
Working Hours·
- 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM·
- Monday to Saturday
- Weekly Off: Sunday
Preferred Background
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Commerce, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in business consulting, business analysis, market research, strategy, or a related role is preferred.
- Strong understanding of business operations, industry analysis, market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Experience in preparing business reports, client profiles, research documents, and strategic recommendations.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to generate meaningful business insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to conduct independent research while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
Tools & Technologies
Familiarity with the following tools and platforms is preferred:
- Productivity Suites: Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 (Microsoft Office Suite)
- Project Management Tools: Notion, ClickUp, Asana, Monday.com, or similar platforms
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Experience with CRM platforms for managing client relationships, sales pipelines, and customer data
- Business Intelligence & Reporting (Preferred): Microsoft Power BI, Google Looker Studio, or similar data visualization tools
- AI Productivity Tools: ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or other AI-powered tools for research, documentation, content generation, and workflow optimization.
