Inviting applications for the role of Manager Supply Chain Specialist! We are seeking an experienced Strategic Advisor with deep expertise in the Indian Defence and Aerospace ecosystem to support strategic initiatives for aerospace client. This advisor will provide insights into the India Defence market key organization competitive landscape and partnership opportunities to help shape business strategy and growth. Responsibilities: - Strategic Sourcing & Procurement - Develop sourcing strategies for aerospace components and assemblies - Identify and qualify suppliers globally and domestically - Negotiate contracts pricing and long-term agreements - Support Make in India initiatives by promoting local suppliers - Supplier & Vendor Management - Evaluate supplier capabilities constraints reliability and compliance with AS9100 / ISO standards - Study supplier base from Tier 1 to Tier N Supplier. - Should be able to suggest & recommend supplier to Supply chain leader. - Understand cashflow and expansion plans - Help devise point of view and strategies on alternative suppliers - Logistics & Distribution Management - Understanding of transportation and distribution of high-value aerospace components - Study import/export and customs compliance - Analyze warehouse and storage operations for aerospace assemblies - Risk Management & Compliance - Identify supply chain risks such as supplier delays geopolitical issues or component shortages - Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards and government regulations - Maintain traceability of components and materials
