Experience: 7–10+ years (Jewellery retail experience must)
Reporting To: Cluster Head / Regional Head – Jewellery
Role Purpose
The Store Manager will be responsible for overall store performance, including achieving sales targets, ensuring superior customer experience, managing teams, maintaining operational discipline, and driving profitability.
The role requires strong leadership capability with the ability to manage sales, customer relationships, inventory discipline, staff performance, and store operations in a jewellery retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Revenue Achievement
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets assigned to the store
- Drive conversion rates, average bill value, and customer acquisition
- Monitor category-wise sales performance and improve productivity
- Ensure effective execution of offers, promotions, and campaigns
2. Customer Experience & Relationship Management
- Ensure exceptional customer service and premium in-store experience
- Build long-term customer relationships and increase repeat purchases
- Handle customer escalations and resolve complaints professionally
- Maintain high customer satisfaction levels
3. Team Management & Leadership
- Lead, motivate, and monitor performance of sales teams
- Conduct regular coaching and product knowledge training
- Allocate responsibilities and ensure productivity targets are met
- Manage attendance, discipline, grooming, and staff performance
4. Product Knowledge & Sales Guidance
- Ensure team members understand:
- Gold jewellery specifications
- Diamonds and precious stones
- Making charges / VA
- Estimates and billing explanation
- Schemes, offers, and exchange policies
- Guide customers on products and purchasing decisions
5. Inventory & Operational Control
- Monitor stock movement and inventory discipline
- Coordinate with purchase and merchandising teams
- Ensure compliance with stock audits and operational processes
- Minimize losses and discrepancies
6. Store Operations & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to SOPs and company policies
- Monitor billing, cash handling, documentation, and reporting
- Maintain store hygiene, display standards, and visual merchandising
- Ensure security procedures and compliance requirements are followed
7. Reporting & Business Insights
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports
- Analyze performance trends and recommend improvement actions
- Provide market intelligence and competitor insights
