To be successful as a Senior VPT Developer, you should have experience with:
- Expert knowledge of Micro Focus LoadRunner Enterprise, VuGen, Performance Center.
- Hands-on experience with Apache JMeter.
- Proven expertise in Performance Test Planning, Workload Modelling, Execution, Analysis, and Reporting.
- Monitoring and observability platforms such as AppDynamics, Splunk, CloudWatch, Kibana or equivalent tools.
- Experience with CI/CD integration (Jenkins, GitLab).
- Scripting knowledge in either Java, Python, Groovy
- Experience building automation frameworks and reusable performance engineering solutions.
- Understanding of DevOps, and Cloud Engineering principles.
- Lead end-to-end performance engineering activities for critical business applications and services.
- Define and implement performance testing strategies, standards, frameworks, and best practices.
- Mentor and guide performance engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with Architecture, Development, Infrastructure, DevOps, and Product teams to embed performance engineering throughout the SDLC.
- Drive Shift-Left Performance Engineering by enabling teams to identify performance risks earlier in the development lifecycle.
